Last night, 10/8/17 I went to bed around 3:30 a.m. and I was feeling a little restless. Typically when this happens, I will go into a meditative state to help myself relax. I focus my vision inward toward the center of my head, calm my breathing, and release any tension. Shortly after doing this, I sank into my mattress and became completely relaxed.
The next thing that happened took me by surprise. All of a sudden, I found myself floating in the air, and spinning in circles at a fairly rapid pace. At times it seemed like I was still in my bedroom, and at times it seemed like I was above a city at night time. It was dark, but the tall building lights pierced the night sky.
I believe I was in Chicago. I'm not entirely sure why, because I haven't been to Chicago since 1991, and I wasn't very old, and I have no recollection of it. Also I use to have a poster of the Sears Tower when I was a kid. It was a night time picture, with the other buildings in the background. This is the only reason I think I could have been in Chicago.
I was a little scared, but I tried to stay as calm as possible. After I started to calm myself, I realized I was in complete control. I started to slow down the spinning, and I started lowering my self back down. As I started to go back down, I was in my room right above my bed. At this point I decided to open my eyes, and I was laying back in my bed.
Usually after these experiences, I will come back into my body out of breathe, sore, or my heart racing, but this time I was completely relaxed. I felt the same as I did before I left my body.
Just thought I would share another experience I had.
